I was born in Memphis, Tn and grew up in Parkersburg, W. Va. where I started riding at about age 10. I attended Meredith College in Raleigh, NC and started selling real estate in 1985. In 1987 I moved to Roswell, Ga just north of Atlanta to sell homes in a country club community called Horseshoe Bend. In 1988 I moved to Charlotte, NC to get married. I went to work for Prudential Carolinas Realty Ballanytne office in January 1994 and in 2007 I moved to Re/Max Executive Realty, also in Ballantyne. As of December 2008 I am Broker In Charge of my own company, Real Estate Decisions, Inc. licensed in North and South Carolina.

 

I loved developing a 47 acre piece of land in Union County where I live, Winghaven Estates, into 12 lots ranging from 1 ac to 6 ac with a 7 acre common area featuring a 1.5 acre stocked pond. As of 2007 all the lots are sold and 12 homes are built. I plan to do more developing!

My Mom, Florence, who is 92 years young this year, just moved in with me in 2005, bringing her companion, Jim Dandy, a long hair chihuahua  . My two dogs, Chester (Maltese) and Tiger Lily (Yorkie) also live with us, plus a new rescue Maltese named Rosie. My 16.2 hand TB Gelding Kokomo, or Coco for short, is 23 this year and happily retired from dressage and eventing.

                                                          

My newest passion is ballroom dancing and I have competed in Pro-Am's at the Silver level in International Standard and Latin. I am an avid gardener and have extensive gardens on my 4 acres in Winghaven Estates. Yoga, Pilates, running, travel, reading and swimming round out my interests! I am a primarily a vegetarian and I'm planning on living until I'm at least 120!!
